Creator Spotlight: Litza Yanez
Content Creator Litza Yanez @Litza_Yanez duses her Instagram page as a window into parts of her life in Miami, but she doesn’t share everything. She tells ARTRPRNR why when we had the chance to ask her all about her influence.
What are the first 3 things you do when you wake up?
Before my eyes are even fully open, I pour myself a cup of coffee. It’s the only way I know how to jump-start my day!
If you could take one person with you anywhere, who would that be?
I’ve always wanted to spend time with my mom in Italy. We’ve both been dying for some alone-time and Italy would be the perfect place for some bonding!
What accounts do you follow for personal inspiration and what about them inspires you?
@kimikouture for swimwear inspo
@carlibybel for makeup inspo, and because she’s amazing 😉
@missbuscemi because she’s a friend of mine, and a fitness expert.
What message do you want to convey to your followers?
Always dream big and go after those dreams. That way, your aspirations become goals, and your goals become accomplishments. Life certainly gets in the way sometimes, but you can’t let that stop you from your dreams!
Do you feel that content creators on social media are misrepresented or misunderstood?
I have found that sometimes, people think my posts are a more realistic snapshot of my life than they actually are. I understand how Instagram can be misleading this way, but I think it’s really important for audience members to understand the disparity between my page and my life. Seeing models post pics of themselves before and after photoshop is a great way creators can remind their followers of this difference, and I totally believe in doing that.
So far, what is the best experience you’ve had while working with a brand?
Everyone I’ve worked with has been really nice. Sometimes I expect higher-ups in a corporate environment to be uptight, but I’m always pleasantly surprised at how down-to-Earth they are!
How do you think social media can elevate humanity?
Social media has the unique power to make people aware of things they never knew about before. I think the possibilities are really endless as to how this can be used to elevate humanity.
As social media continues to grow, what do you consider to be the biggest challenge content creators will face?
Staying up to date on trends and making sure your content is relevant is something I struggle with, and I’ve heard from my influencer friends that they face the same problems.
Tell us something about you that your followers might find surprising.
Probably that I’ve been married for 8 years, and am a mother of 2 beautiful children! I don’t live at the gym, it’s hard for me to find time for myself just like every other wife/mommy.
