This week we had a chance to speak with ‘summer chaser’ Jen Lewis of @bronzeandbriny about her favourite local businesses in Miami and how to keep up with the content creator life style.

How long have you been actively creating content?

Since 2015.

Where are you originally from and how long have you called Miami your home?

I’m originally from Delray Beach, and just moved back from Berlin in January.

What is your favorite place to take friends that are visiting Miami?

Wynwood!

What are some of your favorite local brands/businesses that you worked with?

Ishine 365  has definitely been my favorite collaboration in Miami! Bikinis are life.

What can local businesses do to gain more exposure on social media?

Working with popular local influencers and connecting with followers on social media through commenting and liking.

What is your biggest challenge as a content creator?

Getting noticed. Instagram pumps out so much great content every day that it’s really hard to stand out.

How do you suggest creators can do better at engaging their audience?

By staying true to themselves and testing boundaries.

Who has been your biggest inspiration?

Probably @finduslost. Their photos are always so inspiring!

What do you consider your strongest skill?

Finding pretty beaches.

What book are you currently reading?

‘Courage: The Joy of Living Dangerously’ by Osho. Such a mind-opening read!

What equipment do you use?

I usually use a Sony a6000 for most things! Or my iPhone when I take Story videos. Try to keep it simple.

What are your top 5 apps?

Of course as an influencer, I’m always using:

  • Lightroom

Some others that are great are:

  • Unfold
  • Plann
  • VSCO

Other than that I use

  • Headspace a lot.

Anything else you are currently working on that you would like to share?

Yes, but can’t share at the moment! To be continued… 🙂
