Growing up in Miami, Alain Oliveros always loved his hometown because of the weather, beaches, diverse culture, variety of food, and the people.

As an ambitious creative with marketing and people skills along with a passion for architecture and design, it was an obvious choice to choose a path in real estate. A choice he made in 2018 when he became a real estate agent with his primary focus on Miami Lakes, Downtown Miami, and Pinecrest.

He began working with veterans thanks to his sister, an Army officer in Doral SouthCom who first referred some of her friends that were in the process of buying a home or transferring over. He really enjoyed helping veterans,  for Alain, it was a way to show his appreciation for their service, and as a reminder, he always leaves them a little gift after they purchase a home.

“Social media will play a key role in real estate for the next generation of homes,” buyers says Alain. “Social media helps keep you top-of-mind, when someone hears the word real estate, you better be the first person they think of.

What is the biggest mistake you have seen luxury buyers make when purchasing a residential property?

Not understanding the search process for luxury homes. The luxury home market is very different then most residential real estate. In many cases, luxury homes are unlisted to protect the privacy of sellers. You may be looking at a limited range of options if you are looking on your own. Working with a luxury real estate specialist who is privy to such elusive opportunities will give you a better chance of finding an outstanding property.
