Eddie Rodriguez has been in the real estate industry for many years. The first house he ever sold was his mother’s house back in Cuba where he was born. From that moment, he decided to emigrate to the United States and launched his career in Real Estate. currently at Douglas Elliman.
Eddy has always had a passion for Miami because of its diversity and high energy. He feels a special connection to the water and the beach, mainly what Miami is. He currently leads a team at Douglas Elliman together with his wife Christina.

What do you believe is your biggest strength as an entrepreneur?
I was raised in an “everything is possible if you believe and work hard for it” environment and I think that is my biggest strength as an entrepreneur. Life has no limitations other than the ones that we create.
What is the biggest lesson you learned from a mistake?
That there are no mistakes in life, only lessons.
What is the best piece of advice you received?
That “life is not about expecting, hoping and wishing, It’s about doing, being and becoming”
Who has been your biggest inspiration?
How has social media contributed to your success as a realtor?
I met my gorgeous wife Christina through social media. I think is a great way to connect with like-minded people in a more personal way. People usually do business with people they like or feel related to.

What are some design and feature trends you see forward-thinking developers implementing?
I see more developers being conscious of climate change. I’m a believer that the wellness real estate industry with air purifiers, pollution sensors, and natural materials can breathe new life into high-end homes.
Favorite architect, you either worked with or would like to work with?
My favorite architect is René González, we haven’t worked together yet. It’s on my vision board.
What’s your favorite property currently on the market and why?
Arte Surfside is my favorite development in Miami Beach right now. It’s an intimate and elegant art full boutique building. Oceanfront living at its finest!
What is the biggest challenge you see buyers nowadays facing?
The lack of inventory in the Single Family Homes sector.
Whats neighborhoods do you specialize in?
I have a team of people, all with specific skills to make the team the best in the business. We have schooled ourselves in the best NEW construction projects in town and we are very opinioned as to which are the best investments.
We focus on the Miami Beach, Downtown Miami, and Edgewater neighborhoods.
