Creator Spotlight: Prince Pogi
Prince Pogi is super honest in the captions under his shots at Disneyland. And that’s just how he believes it should be! Follow his IG @princepogiatdisney to add some classic Disney magic to your days. I can’t help but feel it in my heart when I scroll through his page 🙂
What are the first 3 things you do when you wake up?
I start the day by scrolling social media to get my eyes open (bad habit, but it’s the truth!) Then I do some stretches and a quick meditation, and make my bed. During the week, I grab a cold brew from Starbucks on my way to work (ready for me thanks to mobile ordering – the best invention ever), and on the weekends I grab my Disney pants and head over to Disneyland for a magical day!

Ever since I can remember, I’ve lusted over Paris. A couple years ago, I took my long time boyfriend Bubba over, and my heart was so full. Looking over the Eiffel Tower, having dinner on the Seine River, oh, the trip was simply amazing.
Next, I’d love to take Bubba to the place I first dreamt of the city of love, the Philippines. I grew up there, and I’d love for him to see that part of me.
What accounts do you follow for personal inspiration?
I am a believer of the power of Positivity and Self-Empowerment. Kalyn Nicholson @kalynnicholson13 is the kind of person I want to be friends with. She has a YouTube account that talks about everything to improve the way you look at life, and it’s so inspiring. I also listen to her amazing podcasts on my way to work. If you value your self and you believe that you can achieve something greater for yourself or others, you must check her out.
My other fave account is none other than Gary V. @garyvee He’s a marketing genius, entrepreneur and a true hustler with a great positive mindset that I truly admire. He’s all about putting in hard work, positivity, compassion, and kindness. It’s a strategy in living a higher sense of life.
What message do you want to convey to your followers?
One of the most important things we should strive to learn is how to shift our perspectives in a way that will gain us the most wisdom and knowledge in life. Ultimately, this is what I want to convey to my followers because we are all human beings that have perceptions and emotions behind our screens. No matter how bad something you’re going through feels, there’s always another way to look at it. You just gotta dig a little deeper.
Do you feel that content creators on social media are misrepresented or misunderstood?
Oh, of course. People will have their own opinions and judgments towards others, and that’s just part of life. For me, as long as I know myself, my intentions, and my principles in life, I pay no attention whether people like me or not. I do what makes me happy and I like to share that kind of joy and inspire people. If people think negatively about what I do, I don’t let it change me. My life will always move on and I’ll continue to attract those who believe in me.
So far, what is the best experience you’ve had while working with a brand?
I’m super selective in my brand collabs, because I genuinely want to enjoy and believe in the brands I promote. My collab with Anaheim Marriott @anaheimmarriott was one for the books, for sure. The best thing about it was gaining new friends from that experience who share the same passions as I do.
How do you think social media can elevate humanity?
Social media can be such a powerful tool to inspire and create a positive impact on other people’s emotions and feelings. If we just focus on what will bring value to other people, whether it is happiness, new knowledge, or inspiration; and less on things that promote hate, jealousy or the need to compare ourselves with others, the worth of humanity will reach new heights.
As social media continues to grow, what do you consider the biggest challenge content creators will face?
For some, it could be the relevance of their content and keeping up with what is trending or what is new. I may understand this from a business stand point, but personally, the challenge I face with social media is the fact that it is addicting. In order to give light and happiness to other people, enriching yourself with love and care must come as a first priority. I like to do all this for fun and to inspire other people, but I’m also aware of my own emotions. When a break is needed, I have to make time to take one. I know far too many people who want to take a break from social media, but they feel like they can’t for whatever reason. I say do it for your own good.
