Tiffany designs personalized planners specifically for kids. I do everything from the cover designs to the binding. My ultimate goal is to teach kids to get organized and have fun with it!

How  did you get started?

I started Planners4Kids when I noticed my oldest daughter struggling with time management and organization. I could not find what I was looking for when I searched the Internet, so I decided to make my own idea of a kids planner for her. I realized other kids would benefit from planners as well, so I made them for her friends and it just kept growing.

What has been the most challenging moment in your career?

The most challenging and scary part starting
out was not having a well-worn path to follow. I was worried there was a reason there were no kid planners on the market. I didn’t know if kids were ready for planners until I started making them.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Early on I was advised that my worst critic would be myself and I found this to be true. There is just no way to get everything right the first time, and I had to learn how to fail, learn from it, then let it go and move forward.

What do you love most about what you do?

I love seeing kids thinking about their future as a result of learning to plan. My degree is in art, so I also enjoy the designing aspect of what I do.

Any dislikes?

I really dislike the accounting part of owning a business, but I am pretty disciplined so I get it done. That motivation is also what keeps me going through other challenges.

How do you define happiness

To me, happiness is getting things done. Setting goals and achieving them is what keeps me going. I believe this part of my personality contributes to my success.

Have you collaborated with another business/artist in the past? (if yes tell us how it benefited you, if no tell us how you would like to)

I am currently collaborating with @howdowdownson_games on a game and planner set as a teaching tool. Howdowdownson is a super fun and creative husband and wife duo and I know as a team we make the learning process fun for kids.

Are you currently reading any books?

I like to read, but my favorite thing to do in my downtime is puzzles of any kind.

Do you have any advice for us?

My advice to other entrepreneurs is to keep learning. I learn from the kids who use my planners and my own kids all the time!

Thank you!
