Since living here Angela has learned how to surf for the first time, she’s been snorkeling, free-diving, paddle-boarding, jet-skiing, and doing a lot of water sports that she never imagined herself doing.
Angela is extremely ambitious and lives her life with the motto of learning something from everyone and every situation.
What Inspired You to Choose A Career in Real Estate?
I began my career as soon as I arrived in Miami. I noticed the big potential in real estate here and couldn’t stay aside from it and watch it grow, wanted to be part of it. I found an amazing mentor early on and that really inspired me.
Who Has Been Your Biggest Inspiration?
My biggest inspiration was my brother when I was 17. He inspired me to take good care of myself because my body is the only vehicle that will take me through this life. My younger sister inspired me by understanding that preparation meets the opportunity and not the other way around, her motto is “It’s better to be prepared and not have where to go than to have where to go and not be prepared” she is a great example of that and I am very proud of her.
My real estate broker inspired me to stay optimistic and niche my target, to be the expert and know my road better than anyone else, to make a difference, and never count my losses.
What is The Biggest Lesson You Learned From A Mistake?
Always trust my first instinct in absolutely anything I do. I used to ignore my instincts until I realized they’re always right.
What is The Best Piece of Advice You Received?
There is a lot of amazing advice I have received over the years, but I’ll share the most important ones that really impacted my life:
“Always be prepared, don’t worry, the opportunity will come”
“Don’t count your loses, one day you’ll strike oil” “When the student is ready, the teacher will come”
“By LISTENING, half of your questions will be already answered”
“Speak less, listen more” “Underpromise and overdeliver”
“Don’t underestimate and don’t have expectations”
“Let it go, you can’t control everything”
What is A Personal Habit That Contributes to Your Success?
Keeping a journal, where I write everything down: my daily plan, my weekly plan, my yearly plan, etc. I write my thoughts, I write when I’m sad, I write when I’m happy, I write anytime and about anything that triggers me emotionally, so I can analyze myself in my transitional behaviors, to become more aware and a better person in accomplishing the goals that I have for myself. This habit became very important to me because I’ve seen results with it. Taking time for myself.
Meditation is a big word for some people, but I meditate when I drive, when I am at the gym, when I go for a bike. It’s a habit I do over and over. It allows me to tap into my emotions, my inner self and realize what is really happening and what do I need to take care of right now at this moment.
What Books Had The Greatest Impact on Your Life?
I enjoy reading, and I have many books that inspired and changed my life entirely.
The same book will not have the same impact on everyone because we all grew up in different environments with different cultures, values, people, and experiences in our life.
These are the ones that gave me some “AHA” moments:
“Seven levels of Communication” by Michael J. Maher
“The Richest Man in Babylon” by George S Clason
“How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie
“The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tole
“Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill
What Are Design and Feature Trends You See Forward-thinking Developers Implementing?
The current pandemic situation is forcing us to think outside of the box and implement new technology that will allow us to enjoy the things we love yet be safe while doing them. 2020 was a year where developers focused more on minimalism, interfaces, voice search and design.
2021 will bring a lot more into places like touchless tech, more natural and earthy colors to provide balance and serenity, work from home-oriented with high-speed internet and charging stations, delivery package storage will be increased as many people are shopping online, more bike storage, extra rooms for creators (crafting, painting, music, etc).
They will need to implement extra HVAC systems for better ventilation, – taking into more consideration the air and water purification as more people will work from home, in-house bar/cafe/restaurant to keep owners from going too far from their home.
Smarter elevators, that cut down on stops, time, or weight. and more private-public spaces as needed.
How Has Social Media Contributed to Your Success?
Social Media is a great tool for marketing especially right now during a pandemic. Most of the clients that I currently work with, came through social media. They’ve seen my work they’ve watched it every day.
Because they already saw me a couple of times on social media, it felt like they were already familiar to me when I first got in contact with them. It is a big plus to have a professional presence on social media platforms and keep it active.
What’s The Most Important Tool for You As A Realtor?
The Notes App – Because I write everything down and don’t always have a pen and paper.
Google Maps – I need to go places I’ve never been before and to find the fastest route to a location I’ve already been to many times, or simply to see how long it will take me there according to the current traffic conditions.
Podcast – This is my daily inspiration and my learning curve. I listen as much as I can and it amazes me how many things we can learn while driving.
My Scheduled Calendar – My day, my week is planned ahead, I don’t like to use paper, and my electronic calendar is like glue to me. The app is there to help ease our lives so I can focus on other things.
Who is Your Favorite Architect?
Zaha Hadid is definitely my inspiration.
What is The Biggest Mistake You See Buyers Making?
Buyers will often make an emotional decision and not always a careful one. Sometimes they might not know the exact purpose of why they are buying a certain property or other times they are rushing themselves into a purchase, too quickly.
What is The Biggest Challenge You See Buyers Facing?
Today, cash offers win the table and they can’t ask for contingencies, because there is always another buyer willing to pay more with none.
Are You Seeing More Local or Out-of-town Buyers in Miami?
I see them from everywhere, but whoever has cash wins before any other buyer. Most locals use financing, buyers from out of state come with cash ready to invest.
What’s Your Favorite Property Currently on The Market?
The Penthouse at Parque Towers in Sunny Isles is one of my favorites when you look at the lifestyle vs the price it’s a great value in a key location, close to everything, immaculate interior finishes, double floor of spacious indoor, massive outdoor living (over 4,000 sq.ft) with elevated and heated pool, lots of entertaining areas, splendid views all year round, 6-star amenities, and a great price for the value: $6,280,000
What is Your Biggest Strength As An Entrepreneur?

What Are Your Top 3 Places to Take Clients Visiting Miami?
First, if someone is new to Miami, they definitely need to come on a boat tour.
If they’re courageous enough I’ll do a jetski ride so they can see what this place is all about.
Second, if they’re not afraid of the water and if they have children that are inspired by marine life, I’ll recommend snorkeling by the Pier in South Beach. In summertime here we see the most colorful juveniles, manatees, stingrays, turtles and so much more.
Third, a bike ride along the beach so they can feel and smell the freshness of the ocean breeze.
Then a 5-star restaurant, with a wonderful sunset view. There are some great locations in Bal Harbor, Downtown, or Jungle Island.
Lastly, they have to see Vizcaya Museum, the well-maintained and manicured Botanical Garden.
There is a lot more to see here, like Wynwood Walls, Design District, some of the islands that are accessible by boat only, maybe even a helicopter tour to have a birds-eye view.
